Managing cookies

When you visit our website, al.se, we use cookies to collect specific information. A cookie is a small data file with text that is saved in your web browser. ‘Managing cookies’ explains what cookies are and how we use them on our website.

For more information about how we process your personal data when you use our website, read Processing personal data.

What different kinds of cookies are there?

There are two kinds of cookies. Persistent cookies save a file over a long period of time on a visitor’s computer and have an expiration date. After this date the cookie is automatically deleted the next time you return to the website that created it. Session cookies do not have an expiration date and are only used during your visit to the website. The cookie is stored temporarily on your computer’s memory and disappears automatically when you close your web browser.

How we at Atrium Ljungberg use cookies

  • We use cookies to provide a better user experience and to ensure that certain functions on our websites work properly.
  • We also use cookies to collect non-personal information about the number of visitors to our websites and their behaviour on them, to obtain information about how our websites are used and to see how we can improve them for the users. The tools we use are Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
  • We also use cookies to provide you with interest-based marketing. We use Google AdWords, Azalead and social media (LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram) for advertising.

If you do not wish to receive targeted advertising from advertising networks such as Google, LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram, you can change your advertising settings on their websites.

How do I control my cookies?

Most web browsers accept cookies automatically, but you can change the settings in your web browser to allow or remove cookies, or to prevent automatic approval. You are normally allowed to see which cookies you have and delete them one by one, block third-party cookies or cookies from specific websites, accept all cookies, adjust settings so that your web browser notifies you when it receives a cookie, or reject all cookies. Visit the ‘Options’ or ‘Settings’ menu in your web browser to change your settings.
